A form for people to display their collection of vinyl's and talk about them with other users. Also keep track of their collections and new announched vinyl. This Site is dependent on the user's input, every vinyl is inserted by the user

I got a vinyl player for my 17 or 18 birthday and also all of the older vinyl’s my dad still had with him. Some AC/DC from the late ’80 and early ’90 he traded himself with friends and some other bands I didn’t really know who they were and what kind of music they made.

I wasn’t until short after I started to get my own vinyl’s. Queen best-of’s, some new AC/DC, Iron Maden and so on. I heared them while doing shool work, or just hanging around in my room, either alone or with friends. It became kind of a ritual to listen to physical media of music. Nowdays I’m mostly getting a vinyl if I like the album or just EP if it’s just one song.

My Collection is quite large by now and my friends started to collect aswell. One evening we were talking online and talked about our collections, send links of what we wanted to get next or of announcements we were exited for. Not long into the discussion, we asked ourself, if there isn’t a easier way to share all of this. We talked about what a site could look like.

Soon after I started building on this project and have been since. I wanted to test out some new technologies for some time now and with Tanstack Start getting pretty stable, I set myself a goal to create a website that could be used by everyone who had the same conversion as we did this one evening.
